Class Song for Wilson Class of 1973 - words by Deborah McDaniel

Memories that flow within the mind
Of friends and things long passed
Remind some of their years
At other schools most dear.

See the faces blending old and new
Some scarred with endless pain
Making efforts to explain
Their reasons for disdain.

But now our time to live is drawing nigh
We cannot cling to days gone by.
We must climb to new horizons
Travel paths not walked before
Tomorrow lights the way
Together we must stay.

We love our Alma Mater to most varying degrees
We've seen a year of change
Survived the tears - the pain
Now one by one we'll go our separate ways
But you and I can part as friends, today.

(Tune "If" by Bread)
