JUNE CLASS SONG

Tune: "The Stars Will Remember, So Will I"
Return to the Top
Return to the Top
THE JUNIOR-SENIOR CAME IN MAY;
WE DECORATED ALL THAT DAY,
THEN DRESSED OUR VERY BEST THAT NIGHT
AND ENJOYED THE DANCE WITH ALL OUR MIGHT

WE WERE REALLY SENIORS, COME NEXT YEAR
IT WAS HARD TO BELIEVE GRADUATION WAS NEAR,
BUT WE VOTED ON OFFICERS AND SETTLED RIGHT DOWN
TO WORKING AWAY FOR THAT CAP AND GOWN

THAT FOOTBALL SEASON WE'LL NEVER FORGET;
'TWAS THE GREATEST TEAM WE'D EVER KNOWN YET.
BACKED UP BY OUR HEARTY ROOTING AND CHEERS,
THEY WON THE FIRST TITLE IN TWENTY LONG YEARS.

OUR CLASS WAS HONORED IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE;
WE HELD DOWN BIG JOBS, BUT HAD LOTS OF FUN.
WE STUDIEDAND PLAYED AND MADE MANY FRIENDS,
AS CLOSER WE CAME TO OUR SCHOOL DAY ENDS.

FINALLY CAME THE CHERISHED NIGHT,
WHEN WITH HEADS ERECT AND EYES BRIGHT,
WE GOT THAT DIPLOMA FROM WILSON HIGH
AND SADLY WISHED OUR FRIENDS GOODBYE.
AS RATS WE CAME TO WILSON HI,
ERE LONG THOSE DAYS HAD PASSED US BY,
WHEN WE WERE SOLD AUDITORIUM SEATS,
OR TOLD OF WONDERFUL SOPHOMORE FEATS.

RIGHT SOON EXAM TIME CAME AROUND;
TO BOOKS AND NOTES WE ALL WERE BOUND
AS WE'D SEE EACH FRESHMAN BOY AND MISS,
THEY'D SAY 8TH GRADE WAS NEVER LIKE THIS.

THE NEXT YEAR CAME THAT AWLFUL FIRE
THAT DID OUR SCHOOL SUCH DAMAGE DIRE
WE MOVED ALONG TO BARRACKS "A"
ABOUT THE MIDDLE OF MAY.

OUR JUNIOR YEAR WE HALF WAY SPENT
AS WE BACK TO THE BARRACKS WENT,
WHERE BENCHES FELL AND BACKS WERE SORE,
BUT SHELTER WE WERE THANKFUL FOR.

IN FEBRUARY, HAPPY DAY,
WE CAME TO WILSON'S HALL TO STAY,
FOR WALLS WERE PAINTED FRESH AND BRIGHT,
AND SHINY DESKS REFLECTED LIGHT.
Now that we are parting
From Dear ole Wilson Hi
The time has arrived to say goodbye,
The years that we've spent here
Too soon have passed us by,
We'll always remember Wilson Hi.

Now we are leaving you
To start our lives anew,
But in our future years we'll
Surive to hold our love for you.

The orange and the blue-ue
Which stand for Wilson Hi
Bring glory to the school they signify
We'll never forget you
As time goes passing by,
You're in our  hearts forever, Wilson Hi.
