The book is a collection of memories and snapshots, that chronicles a time when life was more innocent, in a "Leave it to Beaver," small port town called Portsmouth, Virginia.
Reads stories of your crazy days in elementary and high school, as told to Joel, by his family, friends and classmates, from the late thirties,40s, 50s, and early sixties.
The book took over five years to write, and is more than 375 pages long with over 260 pictures.
